Veggie Mix

Description

Veggie Mix is a planting medium for garden vegetables. This mixture is a combination of our Screened Topsoil and Mushroom Compost. Several local farmers use this mixture and have great success. You may still want to add amendments to this mixture based on the type of vegetable or herb you are growing (for example, additional Calcium for tomatoes and pepper to prevent ). For best results, always check your pH of your soil before adding amendments to ensure your growing medium has the appropriate pH for your plants to absorb the nutrients from the soil. Check with our horticulturist for recommendations if you have questions.

Uses: Great as a medium for growing vegetables.
