Potting Soils & Amendments

Black Kow Mushroom Compost (40 lb)

Mushroom compost is made from the soil that is used to grow mushroom. Since mushrooms are a delicate crop, the soil is used only once. This rich, soil-building medium is perfect for vegetable and flower gardens, hanging baskets, shrubs, and trees. Mix it with your native soil or as a top-dressing or potted plants of all types.

Black Kow Manure (50 lb)

Black Kow Manure is all natural and has more nutrients than typical garden soils. It provides moisture holding capacity to sandy soils to help hold water around the roots. It provides aeration and moisture holding capacity to hard, clay-type soils. Black Kow Manure gives your plant’s roots the optimum environment in which to get started. Black Kow Cow Manure contains millions of beneficial bacteria. These bacteria convert nitrogen and other nutrients into an easily available form for the plant. It is organic and contains nutrients that are released slowly without burning tender roots.

Black Kow Topsoil (45 lb)

Black Kow Topsoil is a naturally occurring blend of organic material from the Florida peat deposit. It is a great top-dressing for lawns or just fixing bare spots. Mix with Black Kow Cow Manure for planting trees and shrubs.

High Cotton Compost (21 L)

High Cotton Compost will greatly improve the overall health of your soil. It will help break up heavy clay soils and improve water retention in poor soils. It has composted a minimum of 3 years to ensure it is chemical free and has a consistent texture. It is full of beneficial micro-organisms and it will not burn plants. It is also excellent for promoting and improving drainage in poor soils. Average N-P-K is approximately 1-1-1. Use: Good for lawns, trees, shrubs, and beds. Improves soil water and nutrient retention. Use 1/4″ to 1/2″ evenly across your lawn, water thoroughly.
